The purpose of this meeting is to review and accept committee reports, review the 2021 budget, nominate and elect officers and to vote on Pastor Elaine’s terms of service.

Sunday, February 14

This is a Communion Sunday. I want to strongly encourage you to consider bringing your own juice/water and cracker or bread so that you can stay in your pew throughout worship. The numbers in our county are less than good, right? So any way we can be together and be careful should be part of our thinking and acting these days.If you sharing worship while at home please use the following link to watch the Worship Service Live starting at 10am. Have your bread and cup ready!hope, peace, joy and love to you – and a Healthy Hope-full New Year!!

This year we have decided to try something new and safe for Christmas Eve. At 4:30pm we will gather in the parking lot to celebrate the birth of Christ with a Lessons and Carols service. You can tune into the service on 91.3FM on your car radio. Sing the carols as loud as you want; you will be in the safety of your car!

Exciting Advent plans….

Advent 2020 will be upon us very soon. With it brings the challenge of how we all can share this exciting time together, whether it be in church or in the comfort and safety of your home. Your LPC worship committee has been exploring ways for all of us to be included and brought together for Advent. This year, each of us will receive an Advent packet, either in church or by mail. The packet will have a booklet with an Advent lighting service and a creative idea for each week. The candle lighting service included will be the same service that will be used in church and seen on Facebook. You will also receive a mini banner that you can put together each week. This banner will have the same symbols that Advent candle lighters will be using. We hope that you will join us- in person or on FB or in thought – as we await the birth of Christ.

11/22 One more outside worship

Because the weather is going to improve this weekend, we will be worshipping in the parking lot. You may bring a chair and sit outside with us OR sit in your car and tune in on your radio.

For those of you at home, look for livestream at approximately 10:15 on Facebook.

This Sunday, November 15, LPC will be going LIVE on Facebook. We will be bringing you the scripture, sermon and hymn during the live service at approximately 10:15 am. This is our first week to do so, so please be patient with us.

Blanket Mission

Normally at this time of year, LPC sets aside one Sunday to NOT go to church but to go out and work on a mission. Due to the Covid-19, we were unable to do so this year. So this fall, the Blanket Mission was begun. People from the congregation made cozy blankets at home and brought them to church. Over 25 were made with loving care to wrap around the residents of Schuyler Inn, a local homeless shelter for families. (see photos)

Sunday, October 20 at 11:30, we will be having our annual AUCTION to benefit One Great Hour of Sharing.

Wear a MASK, bring a comfortable CHAIR or use on of ours, a LUNCH if you wish and DRESS for the weather!
