Good Friday, April 2 at 11:30 am : Service in the Sanctuary
Easter will be celebrated at 10 am in the church parking lot. You will be able to stay in your car and listen using your radio on FM 91.3. We are very happy to announce that Will Hayes (cellist) and our own Marcus will be bringing us beautiful Easter music!
This year we have decided to try something new and safe for Christmas Eve. At 4:30pm we will gather in the parking lot to celebrate the birth of Christ with a Lessons and Carols service. You can tune into the service on 91.3FM on your car radio. Sing the carols as loud as you want; you will be in the safety of your car!
Advent 2020 will be upon us very soon. With it brings the challenge of how we all can share this exciting time together, whether it be in church or in the comfort and safety of your home. Your LPC worship committee has been exploring ways for all of us to be included and brought together for Advent. This year, each of us will receive an Advent packet, either in church or by mail. The packet will have a booklet with an Advent lighting service and a creative idea for each week. The candle lighting service included will be the same service that will be used in church and seen on Facebook. You will also receive a mini banner that you can put together each week. This banner will have the same symbols that Advent candle lighters will be using. We hope that you will join us- in person or on FB or in thought – as we await the birth of Christ.
This Sunday, November 15, LPC will be going LIVE on Facebook. We will be bringing you the scripture, sermon and hymn during the live service at approximately 10:15 am. This is our first week to do so, so please be patient with us.
Normally at this time of year, LPC sets aside one Sunday to NOT go to church but to go out and work on a mission. Due to the Covid-19, we were unable to do so this year. So this fall, the Blanket Mission was begun. People from the congregation made cozy blankets at home and brought them to church. Over 25 were made with loving care to wrap around the residents of Schuyler Inn, a local homeless shelter for families. (see photos)
10:00 am Sundays Services will be outside until October 4; weather permitting. Bring a chair and a mask. Look for photos on our gallery page. Please remember to be socially distant.
